What would be a good hairstyle change? (pics included)?

I have really long brown curly hair, and I love love love it. But I think I'm ready for something a little bit different. I was wondering about side swept bangs, or a slight color change, or any styling tips to make the look a little more 2007. Here's a pic of my current style:

ok if i were you, i'd get a little lenght off of it. not too mcuh. and get it little layered on the sides. it looks like it's thick, so layering it would help you a lot =]

I can see why you love your hair! It's gorgeous, and it looks great with your eyes. My husband has naturally curly hair and blue eyes, and I have dark brown straight hair. If we ever have a girl, I basically want her to pop out looking like you. :)

I think adding some color here and there would be simple enough to make your hair look more modern (but I think it already looks nice). Based on the two pictures, I'm not actually sure how long your hair is. If it's longer like in the second picture, I'd layer it up a little more. It looks like it comes to a point towards the bottom, so something a little more blunt (but still with layers) would look hipper.

be really careful with your curly hair.. doing any kind of color treatment.. maybe go to a professional stylist and see about some highlights.. there are lots of styles for curly hair just remember to be careful.. the shorter the hair the curlier ..

bangs would be cute.. but youd be doing alot of heat treating and styling to get anytype of swept look.. best idea is to ask a stylist that does alot of curly hair.. she might suggest a relaxer to loosen curls to give you the beachy wave look.. a little earier to work and style at home..

but i think a shorter cut might be cute. like right above your shoulders. you have kind of a round face so it should be flattering

and side swept bangs look good on a lot of people but since your hair is so curly and you dont have a large forehead i dont think you need bangs at all

Your hair is gorgeous. With curly hair( I have 3 daughters with curly hair) I think you can never go short or you'd have a mini afro and it would look super thick and bushy. For your hair, I just think I would do some long layers and maybe add in some blonde highlights for a sunkissed look and invest in a good straightening iron and press it out and wear it straight. Maybe have your stylist frame your face with some shorter layers for when you do wear it straight and dress it up a little. Other than that, I wouldn't mess with it too much. Make sure you do have a stylist that knows how to do curly b/c that can make all the difference. **Oh yeah...with my girls, I blow dry it straight first and then go over it with an iron. Also make sure you use a heat protectant before doing all this to your hair**

I had almost the exact same hair. Curls and length. But I cut it really short like just a pinch above the shoulders and i love it.

well, idk if you would want to be this drastic, and it's not even really that drastic. but if you wanted to try, you could get it chemically straightened. it's just like a perm and one of my friends has her hair chemically straightened. it works like a perm and everything. i think you might look good with it! and people would be surprised! but in a good way i'm sure!!!

i wouldnt do the swept bangs with your curly hair i think that it would look weird with the curly hair. i would just get some layers.. long ones
